» INFLUENTIAL EVENTS:
Starship Alaska
When Oswin takes a job on board a cruise ship, she does so because she wants adventure and wants to see the stars. She isn't necessarily wanting to be a junior entertainment manager because it's her calling in life, but she's excitable and likes working with people so it'll do for a while. While a lot isn't known about her time on board the ship, mentioning this phase of time is important because it demonstrates Oswin's desire to not stay put on her home world and to travel and see wonders. It also shows that she's capable of surviving as part of a crew, something that's vital to being in game. Her people skills are also able to be picked up on here, since she was able to land a job where she's working in the entertainment department on a luxury cruise spaceship.

Crash Landing
Somewhere along the Alaska's path, there was some rough going that ended in the ship crash landing on a Dalek Asylum planet. Oswin was able to get to one of the escape pods and crash landed shortly after the ship did. She was able to crawl out of the wreckage and find a way below the icy surface of the planet down below. It was during her attempt to survive the dangerous internal maze of the planet that she was captured by the locals, though she put up a good show of managing to dodge them for a while.

Dalek Conversion
After her capture, the daleks wanted to put her genius level intellect and hacking skills. They went through the torturous process of converting her into a dalek. While the exact time it took to do so isn't known, it is shown that the ordeal was greatly painful and terrifying. Generally when this process happens, the human side of the individual is lost. However, with Oswin, she kept her human qualities and emotions. She was able to block out the memories of conversion and was able to "exist" in a place in her mind, one that had her convinced she was surviving alone in the cockpit of the Alaska. Here, she was able to listen to opera music and make souffles daily. She thought she was outsmarting the daleks every night by hacking into their systems, and that was how she had managed to stay alive for a year.

Meeting the Doctor
Right around the year mark, a clumsy goof of a man came crash landing onto the planet with his companions. She was able to hack into the planet wide camera and communication system in order to spy on him and chat him up. She befriended him and helped him navigate the inner maze of the planet. Since she still thought she was human and was trapped in the cockpit of the cruise ship, she offered him assistance in defeating the daleks on the planet as long as he came to rescue her. After a long series of banter and assistance, the Doctor reached Oswin. He was shocked to discover that she was a dalek and not human. Oswin was a rare, special case. A tragic dalek that didn't have her mind fully taken from her. They hadn't been able to extract all the love and fill her with hate, and therefore she still possessed her resilience and had been able to "survive" all that time alone.

Acceptance
After a breakdown, Oswin was able to accept her fate. She had died and had been forced to become something else, but she was still human. Oswin Oswald bravely sacrificed herself and defeated the daleks, dying once and for all in the process. She erased his name and all memory of his existing from the dalek memory bank, and helped him blow up the dalek Asylum. She ensured that he and his companions were able to escape, but not before leaving him with a haunting "Run you clever boy, and remember me." This would come back to drive him to the point of obsession later on, after meeting a woman named Clara Oswin Oswald in Victorian England at Christmastime. She was the one who set the Doctor on the path of obsession that led him to Clara Oswald in modern day London.

» FIT: Oswin is used to traveling around in space, so she's going to take to life in game really easily. She knows how to be a productive part of a crew so she'll find a task to focus on and work well with others. Her desire to see the stars will make her want to find transports or a way off the station, not to go back home but to explore and see more of whatever star system they're in. She knows there's no going back home for her and will feel that she has a second chance at life. She'll want to make the most out of that. Any survival elements she's already prepared for, having survived mentally against daleks for about a year. Horror elements are also going to be fine for her, because she went through extreme horror when taken and converted into a dalek. Basically, she'll be ready for just about anything and everything.

» POWERS: Absolutely none, though she's an expert hacker and a self-proclaimed genius. She has the same weaknesses as any other human, especially since she really isn't that much of a fighter. Her skills rely entirely on hacking, technology, or a social game. She's shown the ability to pick up a weapon and use it with minimal training though, so she's not entirely hopeless when it comes to being able to fight. She's just a novice that needs some training.

» NOTES: Oswin will be coming into the game human, in her actual human body.
